Organisation Name: Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC)

The office of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission is situated at Itanagar, the Capital city of Arunachal Pradesh.

The Head of the Office of the Commission is the Secretary who is appointed by the Commission with prior approval of the Governor. The Secretary is assisted by 2(two) Joint Secretaries and 2(two) Deputy Secretaries. Below to their ranks, there are 2(two) Under Secretaries and 4(four)Section Officers. About 30(thrity) other officers including Personal Secretaries, Computer Programmer, Senior Personal Assistants, Personal Assistants, Assistants, Upper Divisional Clerks, Lower Divisional Clerks, Peons etc. are also assisting the Commission in its functions.

The functioning of the Commission is carried out by Administration branch, Accounts branch and Recruitment branch.

Educational Qualification: 2nd Class Bachelor Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with B.Ed.

However, candidates that have appeared or are appearing in the final semester/year examination shall also be eligible to apply

Salary : Pay Matrix Level-7 (Rs.44,900 - Rs.1,42,400), Group-'B' Non-Gazetted.

AGE LIMIT: Candidates should not be less than 21 years ofage and not more than 33 years of age as on 13.05.2022, However, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for APST and another 5 years for Government and Semi Covernment Departmental Staff of the State of Arunachal Pradesh.

For APST PwD candidates, upper age limit will be relaxed by 15 years..
