The System Management Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and management frameworks to support the rich product portfolio for the changing storage world, while providing a seamless and easy to use interfaces for customers to interact with the system. In addition to this, we work with some cutting-edge technology, to design and develop independent and intelligent software framework container services for the integrated Kubernetes based platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

What you’ll achieve As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and testing sophisticated systems and software applications as well as frameworks, through test automation, to provide a seamless and easy to use interfaces for the customer’s needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design, implementation, testing of high-quality, independent application frameworks and services, to support current products running in various deployments like on-prem, cloud, hybrid, etc,

• Help build infrastructure microservices, through automation testing, for the integrated and Kubernetes based next-gen platform

• Frequently help in development cycle, by root causing issues, fixing bugs and even lending hand on feature development in the above areas.

• Frequently suggest solutions for problems and issues in system management, storage and manageability areas, and programming

• Partner with the various teams within Secondary Storage to define technology, system management testing needs, requirements and goals

• Prepare written test specifications for tasks of varied complexity from verbal requirements

• Use defined software lifecycle methodologies

• Review and implement test strategies for software products

Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python programming, and good handle on multiple programming languages like C/C++/Golang/RUST, etc

• Proficiency in scripting, through one or more scripting languages like python, perl, ruby, bash, etc.

• Hands on knowledge of Rest API, REST Frameworks, 3rd party API tools and packages PostgreSQL, Time-series database

• Working and hands on knowledge of Kubernetes, as well as deploying applications/pods on Kubernetes, Docker, Containers and developing microservices

• Knowledge of Linux OS, system programming, networking and client technologies

• Aptitude to independently learn new technologies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

Preferred Skills:

• Master’s degree

• Knowledge of enterprise storage and secondary storage, cloud, etc.

• 1-2 years of Experience on docker environment, docker swarm, docker-compose, Kubernetes, K8, is a plus

Remuneration : ₹ 5,00,000 - 10,00,000 PA

Experience: Freshers, 0-2 years
